Discover your creative potential and connect with like-minded individuals at our Open Day on Sunday, 24th August, from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Whether you’re a regular or have never quite made it along to one of our workshops, this is the perfect opportunity to explore our vibrant arts studio, meet our talented tutors, and take part in a variety of hands-on activities.

What’s On:

  • Meet the Tutors: Get to know our experienced tutors and learn more about our range of courses.

  • Live Demonstrations: Watch skilled artists in action as they showcase techniques and processes, (including sculpting clay figures, macrame, bowl-turning, pastels, hooking, copper work and embroidery)

  • Engaging Activities: Try your hand at some creative activities throughout the day, including ‘have-a-go at mosaics’. Perfect for all skill levels.

  • Refreshments: Grab a cuppa and have a good natter!

It’s a drop-in event, so you can turn up anytime between 10am-4pm. We’ve added the event to the website and are asking people to “book” to get an idea of predicted numbers on the day. We’ll be updating the listing with more details as they come in.

Tell your friends, bring along you family- we look forward to welcoming you all.

What to expect

Time at ArtisOn is designed to take you away from it all and provide the environment, the time and the guidance you need to create. You can expect a warm welcome, skilled and friendly tutors plus the chance to meet like-minded people keen to share ideas and experiences.

There will usually be two workshops going on and we encourage everyone to mingle and be nosey about what the other workshop is up to!

Arrive in time to meet other participants over a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits before beginning your session at the appointed time. There will be a mid-session break for refreshments and a chance to talk over progress with others. All refreshments are included.

Finish time is given as a target – there are occasions when the session may overrun so do let us know if you need to be away promptly.
