Ruth McCann
Ruth McCann is an Artist and bookbinder practising in the north east of England. She has taught bookbinding for 25 years in Ireland, London and Newcastle.
Ruth worked in Hubert’s of Cork hand bindery and then Book Works of London before setting up her own studio.
Currently located in Newcastle Art Centre. Ruth’s book art is in the permanent collection at the Tate and her fine binding has won judges award in Designer Bookbinders competition.
