With her roots in design, Karen has extensive experience in teaching people of all levels and abilities. She is a qualified botanical artist who uses mediums such as ceramics, calligraphy and botanical painting to express the beauty of the natural world.

With passion and enthusiasm, Karen focuses on wild flowers, birds, insects and ephemera, to extend their vibrancy and visual life creatively on paper, vellum and ceramics using a mixture of free flowing designs and intricate detailed work. Her passion in using gold leaf and textural mediums adds a depth to unique and individual work.

Through her continued self development, Karen is extending her knowledge and creativity into printmaking and wall paper printing to enable her to bring a deeper understanding of the creative aspect of her work and experience.

Karen believes that as a yoga and meditation teacher, the natural beauty around us, can be invoked in everyone and translated into colour, design and mark making to create unique and beautiful works of art. Her patience and rapport, enables her to encourage people to free their individual energy and creativity to focus on what drives them, whilst learning and developing techniques in water colour, gouache and mixed media.
