The ArtisOn Experience…

ArtisOn
A day at ArtisOn is designed to take you away from it all.  We aim to provide a safe creative space with inspiration, guidance and the support of like-minded people.

A typical day with us would run something like this….

9:30 – 9:45am

Welcome to ArtisOn
Get parked, sign-in and grab tea or coffee and biscuits.  Have a look around, check out tutors’ work hanging on the walls, view the many examples of work from various workshops or just mingle and get to know other workshop participants.  Just remember to leave everyone a bit of space.

10:00am
Workshop Session 1
Listen to tutors talk about the content of the workshop, watch their demonstrations on our big screen.  Practise new skills and get inspired.

11:15am
Break
Take a quick break, chat about your ideas over a traditional elevenses!

11:25am
Workshop Session 2

12:45pm
Lunch
There’s one choice of main course with a couple of side dishes unless you’ve informed us of any dietary needs.  It varies according to the season but could be a pasta bake, a chilli, quiche and salads.  We have two cookbooks printed so it could be anything!  Then there’s always one or two delicious puds and no shame in trying them both!
Move outside for a tea or coffee, go for a quick stroll or chill out and chat.

1:30 – 1.45pm
Workshop Session 3

3:00pm
Break
Take a quick break for cuppa and to snaffle a couple of biscuits or piece of fruit if you have room after lunch!

3:10pm
Workshop Session 4
Time to make those final touches to your projects. Time finishing and finessing can make all the difference!  Share your creations with others and bask in the positive feedback…
