Frayah has been in love with animation as long as she can remember, especially stop motion – the stuff of Wallace & Gromit. When it was suggested to Frayah on her foundation year at Leeds art college, that she should consider Animation for a degree, it made perfect sense. She studied traditional Animation, mostly hand drawn but decided on a stop motion film for her graduation film. The film, Marionette was made by a core team of 4 over a year – it had a very good reception and won a few awards on the festival circuit. Having left university Frayah has concentrated more on illustration but has retained her love for animation and approached ArtisOn to see if she could share the love the magic of making inanimate objects come alive.
